Motorcycle Tours
Peru - Inca Adventure tours - an unbeatable mix of deserts, mountains, cloud forest, Inca civilisation - Nazca, Macchu Picchu - and that unmistakeable Latin American vibe. Flavio, the local guide, has been guiding these tours since the mid-1990s for H-C Travel. He is the perfect host, with a deep understanding of his country's culture and geography, a great tutor in the sands of the Ica desert, and a perfect blend of organisational ability (sorely needed sometimes!) and friendship. Thailand. Two new tours to Thailand this winter. First up, a 1-week road tour on 400cc supermotards, the perfect bikes for exploring the twisting mountain tarmac of northern Thailand. Secondly, an adventure tour to Laos, with a slightly more civilised feel to it, keeping to roads wherever possible, but using enduro bikes (so some offroad ability needed). For further info on these and other Thailand offroad tours, please check out www.thailand-motorcycletours.co.uk

Member's Report - A Mongolian Trek
"For three days we followed the river’s left bank, sometimes on faint animal tracks, but more often picking our own route through the short coarse grass. On the first day we passed a cluster of gers and on the third we spotted a large nomadic group moving in the opposite direction on the far side of the river. Otherwise we seemed to have the world to ourselves."
